Photography not allowed in Padma Bridge: BBA

Bangladesh Bridge Authorities (BBA) informed that no one can click photographs after getting down from vehicles on the Padma Bridge.

In this regard, the authority on Friday (June 24) issued a notification with a set of directives.    

The notification said the speed limit of vehicles on the Padma Bridge has been limited to 60 kilometer per hour, photography not allowed and any vehicle cannot stand on the bridge, walking has been prohibited completely, three-wheelers like rickshaw, van, CNG, auto-rickshaw are not allowed on the bridge.

In addition, goods cannot be carried by any vehicle which is wider than its body and higher than 5.7 meter height and no dirt can be dumped on the bridge.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the Padma Bridge at 10:00am on Saturday. The bridge will be open for traffic subject to toll payment at 6:00am on Sunday.
