The government will launch 'Bir Muktijoddha Sirajul Islam Eid Special Train', a special train for the garment workers ahead of Eid-ul-Azha named.
The railway minister Nurul Islam Sujan disclosed the matter in a press conference at the railway building on Wednesday (June 22) at noon.
This train will run from Joydebpur to Panchagarh, he said, adding that tickets for this special train will be sold at Joydebpur and Kamalapur, and advance tickets will start selling on July 1.
Passengers can purchase tickets for July 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 on July 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 respectively, said Minister.
Besides, tickets will be sold at the counter every day from 8am to 4pm and online from 8am.
The Minister said that tickets must be purchased by showing a photocopy of the national identity card (NID) or birth certificate.
The railway minister said that this time also 50 percent of the tickets will be available at the counter and 50 percent of the tickets will be available at online. Advance return tickets will go on sale from July 7.
