Global COVID-19 cases top 363.69m, deaths pass 5.64m [photo collected]

The overall global Covid-19 caseload has topped 363.69 million, while the deaths have surged to more than 5.64 million, according to data from the worldometer.

In its latest update on Thursday (Jan 27, 6pm Bangladesh Time), the data revealed that the current global caseload and death toll stood at 363.693,138 and 5,647,470 respectively.

Besides, a total of 287,884,314 people recovered worldwide from the disease, according to data from the worldometer.

A total of 222 countries and territories and two international conveyances have been infected in the deadly disease.

In USA, 74,176,403 people have tested positive for the virus. Of them, 889,680 people have died and 45,421,318 people have recovered.

In Brazil, 24,553,950 people have tested positive for coronavirus. Of them, 624,507 have died and 22,036,168 recovered.

In India, 40,371,500 people have tested positive for coronavirus. Of them, 491,729 people have died and 37,677,328 people have recovered.

In Russia, 11,404,617 people have tested positive for Covid-19. Of them, 328,770 have died and 10,129,691 people have recovered.

In Mexico, 4,779,296 have been diagnosed with coronavirus. Of them, 304,308 died and 3,853,156 recovered from the disease.

In Peru, 3,070,357 people have tested positive for Covid-19. Of them, 204,769 have died.

In UK, 16,149,319 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of them, 154,702 patients have died and 12,781,312 people have recovered.

In Italy, 10,383,561 people have tested positive for coronavirus. Of them, 144,770 people have died and 7,522,210 people have recovered. 

In Indonesia, 4,309,270 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of them, 144,261 patients have died and 4,129,305 people have recovered.

In Colombia, 5,798,799 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus. Of them, 133,019 people have died and 5,545,155 people have recovered.

In Iran, 6,279,410 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus. Of them, 132,303 patients have died and 6,088,367 patients have recovered. 

In France, 17,730,556 people have tested positive for coronavirus. Of them, 129,747 patients have died and 11,053,491 patients have recovered.

In Argentina, 8,130,023 people have tested positive for Covid-19. Of them, 120,019 patients have died and 7,162,581 people have recovered.

In Germany, 9,145,274 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of them, 117,883 patients have died and 7,443,300 have recovered.

In Poland, 4,695,435 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of them, 104,636 patients have died and 3,880,924 people have recovered.

In Ukraine, 3,946,202 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of them, 99,738 patients have died and 3,601,952 people have recovered.

In South Africa, 3,590,399 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of them, 94,491 patients have died and 3,429,498 people have recovered.

In Spain, 9,529,320 patients have been diagnosed with coronavirus. Of them, 92,591 have died and 5,732,941 patients have recovered. 

In Turkey, 11,167,927 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of them, 86,487 patients have died and 10,484,202 people have recovered.
 
In Bangladesh, 1,747,331 people have tested positive for coronavirus. Of them, 28,288 people died and 1,561,043 patients have recovered.

The World Health Organization declared the coronavirus crisis a pandemic on March 11 last year.
