Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) recorded one death in its Covid-19 unit during the last 24 hours till Sunday morning (Jan 23).

The deceased was a resident of Chapainawabganj and died with Covid-19 symptoms, said RMCH Director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani.  

Besides, three more patients were admitted to the Covid-19 unit during the last 24 hours, taking the number of admitted patients to 42 at present.

Twelve other patients returned home after being cured during the same time.

Meanwhile, 137 patients were found Covid-19 positive after testing 369 samples in Rajshahi's two laboratories on Saturday.
