The country reported 110 fresh dengue cases in last 24 hours till Sunday morning (Nov 21), said the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

So far, 98 died from the mosquito-borne disease this year.

In the 24 hours, 75 dengue patients were hospitalised in Dhaka and 35 other people in other places across the country, said the DGHS release.

Some 531 patients diagnosed with dengue fever are now receiving treatment in the country. Of them, 415 patients were receiving treatment in 46 government and private hospitals in Dhaka while the remaining 116 were undergoing treatment outside Dhaka.

Some 26,453 patients have been admitted to different hospitals with dengue since January while 25,824 patients have returned home after recovery.
