The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) on Thursday issued arrest warrant against 12 persons of Mymensingh district in a case filed for their alleged crimes against humanity during the country's Liberation War in 1971.
A three-member International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) bench, led by its chairman Justice Shahinur Islam, issued the order.
Prosecutors Mokhlesur Rahman Badal and Tapash Kanti Baul represented the state in the court.
Later, Tapas Kanti Baul said that the investigation into the allegations of crimes including murder, kidnapping, torture and looting against the accused was at the final stage.
On October 21, the court issued a warrant for the arrest of the 12, he added.
