The country has received 55 lakh doses of Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine from China early Thursday.

A flight carrying the vaccine consignment landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 1:40am, Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare sources said.

Officials of the ministry received the vaccines at the airport.

Earlier on Monday (October 18), 10 lakh doses of the Sinopharm from China reached at 11:00pm while 10 lakh doses of AstraZeneca vaccine arrived in the country from the Netherlands at 12:00am.
