Nusrat going to be unmasked as Piasa placed on remand

Nusrat Jahan Tania, elder sister of college girl Mosarat Jahan Munia, is going to be unmasked following remand of her kinswoman model Faria Mahbub Piasa.

A Dhaka court placed Piasa on remand for two days in a case filed by Nusrat Jahan Tania against Bashundhara Group Managing Director, his parents, wife and some others for allegedly raping and killing Munia.

Piasa is already behind the bar in several cases involving cocktail party and immoral activities in her residence participated by models, young girls and businessmen.

Nusrat has filed two cases over the mysterious death of Munia so far. After the court rejected the first case involving suicide incitement, she came up with second case bringing rape and murder allegations against several innocent and renowned personnel.

Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI), which is entrusted with investigating the case, applied to the court to show Piasa arrested in the Munia case and place her on remand.

According sources, Munia was acquainted with Piasa with the help of Nusrat. Like other girls, Munia used to visit model’s residence and attend the party. Nusrat also abused her younger sister Munia for blackmailing businessmen.

Mosarat Jahan Munia was found dead at a Gulshan flat on April 26. Her elder sister Nusrat Jahan Tania filed a false case against Bashundhara Group Managing Director Sayem Sobhan Anvir for instigating suicide.

After a thorough investigation, police submitted Final Report to the court on July 19, saying allegation against Sayem Sobhan Anvir was not proved.

The court received the report on July 22. After hearing, the court acquitted the lone accused of the charges on August 18.

At the same time, the court also dismissed the Naraji (no confidence) petition submitted by Nusrat against the police report which led to an end of the false case.

Six days into the dismissal of the case, Nusrat filed another case with the Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal-8 of Dhaka.

Now, police are optimistic about knowing background of relations between Nusrat and Piasa.

Sources said the real identity of Nusrat will be unmasked following the remand of Piasa.
