Four Covid-19 related fatalities were reported at the Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) in the last 24 hours till Monday morning (Sep 27).

With this, 156 people died of Covid-19 at the corona unit of RMCH from September 1 to till date.

Of the deceased, three were the residents of Chapainawabganj, while one from Rajshahi, said RMCH Director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani.  

All of the fresh fatalities were suffering from symptoms of Covid-19, he said.

Besides, 19 patients were admitted to the designated Covid-19 wards of the hospital in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of admitted patients to 113.

Eighteen other patients returned home from the RMCH Covid-19 unit as they recovered during the time, Yazdani added.
