Seven Covid-19 related fatalities were reported at the Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) in the last 24 hours till Thursday morning (Sep 15).

With this, 103 people died of Covid-19 at the corona unit of RMCH from September 1 to till date.

Of the deceased, three were the residents of Rajshahi, while two were from Naogaon and one each from Natore and Pabna districts, said RMCH Director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani.  

Among the deaths, one tested positive for Covid-19 and six others had its symptoms, he said.

Besides, 20 more patients were admitted to the designated Covid-19 wards of the hospital in the last 24 hours, raising the total number of admitted patients to 122, including 42 positive cases.

Twenty other patients returned home from the RMCH Covid-19 unit as they recovered during the time, Yazdani added.
