The overall global Covid-19 caseload has topped 224.67 million, while the deaths have surged to more than 4.631 million, according to data from the worldometer.

In its latest update on Saturday (Sep 11, 2pm Bangladesh Time), the data revealed that the current global caseload and death toll stood at 224,676,338 and 4,631,266 respectively.

Besides, a total of 201,228,051 people recovered worldwide from the disease, according to data from the worldometer.

A total of 220 countries and territories and two international conveyances have been infected in the deadly disease.

In USA, 41,741,693 people have tested positive for the virus. Of them, 677,017 people have died and 31,820,994 people have recovered.

In Brazil, 20,974,850 people have tested positive for coronavirus. Of them, 585,923 have died and 20,016,161 recovered.

In India, 33,208,330 people have tested positive for coronavirus. Of them, 442,350 people have died and 32,374,497 people have recovered.

In Mexico, 3,494,232 have been diagnosed with coronavirus. Of them, 266,849 died and 2,832,038 recovered from the disease.

In Peru, 2,159,306 people have tested positive for Covid-19. Of them, 198,673 have died.

In Russia, 7,102,625 people have tested positive for Covid-19. Of them, 191,165 have died and 6,357,272 people have recovered.

In Indonesia, 4,158,731 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of them, 138,431 patients have died and 3,901,766 people have recovered.

In UK, 7,168,806 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of them, 133,988 patients have died and 5,746,286 people have recovered.

In Italy, 4,596,558 people have tested positive for coronavirus. Of them, 129,828 people have died and 4,338,241 people have recovered. 

In Colombia, 4,926,772 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus. Of them, 125,529 people have died and 4,763,695 people have recovered.

In France, 6,887,791 people have tested positive for coronavirus. Of them, 115,442 patients have died and 6,486,869 patients have recovered.

In Iran, 5,258,913 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus. Of them, 113,380 patients have died and 4,509,905 patients have recovered. 

In Argentina, 5,221,809 people have tested positive for Covid-19. Of them, 113,282 patients have died and 5,067,105 people have recovered.

In Germany, 4,071,607 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of them, 93,095 patients have died and 3,817,900 have recovered.

In Spain, 4,907,461 patients have been diagnosed with coronavirus. Of them, 85,290 have died and 4,542,552 patients have recovered. 

In South Africa, 2,848,925 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of them, 84,608 patients have died and 2,656,534 people have recovered.

In Poland, 2,892,642 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of them, 75,417 patients have died and 2,657,981 people have recovered.
 
In Bangladesh, 1,527,215 people have tested positive for coronavirus. Of them, 26,832 people died and 1,472,067 patients have recovered.

The World Health Organization declared the coronavirus crisis a pandemic on March 11 last year.
