Five Covid-19 related fatalities were reported at the Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) in the last 24 hours till Saturday morning (Sep 11.

Of the deceased, one was the resident of Rajshahi while two from Natore and one each from Pabna and Naogaon districts, said RMCH Director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani.  

Among the deaths, one tested positive for Covid-19 and four had
its symptoms, he said.

With this, 75 people died of Covid-19 at the corona unit of RMCH from September 1 to till date.

Besides, 18 more patients were admitted to the designated Covid-19 wards of the hospital in the last 24 hours, raising the total number of admitted patients to 159, including 58 positive cases.   

Thirteen patients returned home from the RMCH Covid-19 unit as they recovered during the time.
