Khulna division registered 41 deaths in a 24-hour span till Thursday (July 29) morning.

With this, the Covid death toll reached 2,335 in the division. 

Of them, 15 died in Khulna, six in Jashore, nine in Kushita, five in Jhenaidah, four in Jeshore, three in Meherpur, two in Narail and Magura, and one in Chuadanga.

Health director's office confirmed the matter to media.

Besides, 1,019 people have tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours, raising the number of total caseloads to 91,568 in the division.

A total of 66,580 people recovered so far. 

Khulna reported its first Coronavirus case on March 19 last year.
