Global Covid death toll tops 4.16m, caseload over 194m

The overall global Covid-19 caseload has topped 194.07 million, while the deaths have surged to more than 4.16 million, according to data from the worldometer.

In its latest update on Saturday (July 24, 2:00pm Local Time), the data revealed that the current global caseload and death toll stood at 194,074,373 and 4,160,363 respectively.

Besides, a total of 176,159,187 people recovered worldwide from the disease, according to data from the worldometer.

A total of 220 countries and territories and two international conveyances have been infected in the deadly disease.

In USA, 35,283,075 people have tested positive for the virus. Of them, 626,658 people have died and 29,497,875 people have recovered.

In Brazil, 19,632,443 people have tested positive for coronavirus. Of them, 548,420 have died and 18,331,462 recovered.

In India, 31,332,159 people have tested positive for coronavirus. Of them, 420,1043 people have died and 30,503,166 people have recovered.

In Mexico, 2,726,160 have been diagnosed with coronavirus. Of them, 237,954 died and 2,129,788 recovered from the disease.

In Peru, 2,101,139 people have tested positive for Covid-19. Of them, 195,696 have died.

In Russia, 6,078,522 people have tested positive for Covid-19. Of them, 152,296 have died and 5,450,004 have recovered.

In UK, 5,637,975 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of them, 129,044 patients have died and 4,343,939 people have recovered.

In Italy, 4,307,535 people have tested positive for coronavirus. Of them, 127,937 people have died and 4,120,846 people have recovered. 

In Colombia, 4,705,734 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus. Of them, 118,188 people have died and 4,462,579 people have recovered.

In France, 5,953,071 people have tested positive for coronavirus. Of them, 111,591 patients have died and 5,672,063 patients have recovered.

In Argentina, 4,827,973 people have tested positive for Covid-19. Of them, 103,359 patients have died and 4,464,987 people have recovered.

In Germany, 3,760,270 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of them, 92,024 patients have died and 3,644,100 have recovered.

In Iran, 3,645,654 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus. Of them, 88,273 patients have died and 3,220,445 patients have recovered. 

In Spain, 4,280,429 patients have been diagnosed with coronavirus. Of them, 81,221 have died and 3,683,457 patients have recovered. 

In Poland, 2,881,948 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of them, 75,235 patients have died and 2,653,172 people have recovered.

In Indonesia, 3,082,410 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of them, 80,598 patients have died and 2,431,911 people have recovered.

In Bangladesh, 1,146,564 people have tested positive for coronavirus. Of them, 18,851 people died and 978,616 patients have recovered.

The World Health Organization declared the coronavirus crisis a pandemic on March 11 last year.
