Amid the worsening Covid-19 situation, Khulna division registered 52 deaths in a 24-hour span till Monday (July 19) morning.

With this, the Covid death toll reached 1,947 in the division. 

Besides, 1,165 people have tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours, raising the number of total caseloads to 82,586 in the division.

Rasheda Sultana, Director of Divisional Health Directorate, confirmed the matter to media.

Khulna reported its first Coronavirus case on March 19 last year.
