Global COVID-19 death toll tops 3.84m, caseload over 177m [photo collected]

The overall global Covid-19 caseload has topped 177.84 million, while the deaths have surged to more than 3.84 million, according to data from the worldometer.

In its latest update on Thursday (June 17, 3:30pm Local Time), the data revealed that the current global caseload and death toll stood at 177,842,616 and 3,849,768 respectively.

Worldwide Covid-19 deaths are rising once again, especially in India. 

Besides, a total of 162,350,700 people recovered worldwide from the disease, according to data from the worldometer.

A total of 220 countries and territories and two international conveyances have been infected in the deadly disease.

In USA, 34,365,985 people have tested positive for the virus. Of them, 616,150 people have died and 28,616,495 people have recovered.

In Brazil, 17,629,714 people have tested positive for coronavirus. Of them, 493,837 patients have died and 16,030,601 recovered.

In India, 29,700,313 people have tested positive for coronavirus. Of them, 381,931 people have died and 28,491,670 people have recovered.

In Mexico, 2,463,390 have been diagnosed with coronavirus. Of them, 230,624 died and 1,962,152 recovered from the disease.

In Peru, 2,015,190 people have tested positive for Covid-19. Of them, 189,522 have died.

In Russia, 5,264,047 people have tested positive for Covid-19. Of them, 127,992 have died and 4,839,705 have recovered.

In UK, 4,589,814 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of them, 127,926 patients have died and 4,294,506 people have recovered.

In Italy, 4,248,432 people have tested positive for coronavirus. Of them, 127,153 people have died and 4,019,424 people have recovered. 

In France, 5,747,647 people have tested positive for coronavirus. Of them, 110,578 patients have died and 5,525,051 patients have recovered.

In Colombia, 3,829,879 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus. Of them, 97,560 people have died and 3,565,158 people have recovered.

In Germany, 3,726,731 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of them, 90,748 patients have died and 3,594,700 have recovered.

In Argentina, 4,198,620 people have tested positive for Covid-19. Of them, 87,261 patients have died and 3,791,979 people have recovered.

In Iran, 3,060,135 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus. Of them, 82,480 patients have died and 2,696,434 patients have recovered. 

In Spain, 3,749,031 patients have been diagnosed with coronavirus. Of them, 80,615 have died and 3,536,165 patients have recovered. 

In Poland, 2,878,276 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of them, 74,734 patients have died and 2,649,535 people have recovered.

In Bangladesh, 837,247 people have tested positive for coronavirus. Of them, 13,282 people died and 773,752 patients have recovered.

The World Health Organization declared the coronavirus crisis a pandemic on March 11 last year.
