Global coronavirus death toll tops 3.38m, caseload over 163m [photo collected]

The overall global Covid-19 caseload has topped 163.24 million, while the deaths have surged to more than 3.38 million, according to data from the worldometer.

In its latest update on Sunday (4:30pm Bangladesh Time), the data revealed that the current global caseload and death toll stood at 163,242,063 and 3,385,8314 respectively.

Worldwide Covid-19 deaths are rising once again, especially in India. 

Besides, a total of 141,578,138 people recovered worldwide from the disease, according to data from the worldometer.

A total of 220 countries and territories and two international conveyances have been infected in the deadly disease.

In USA, 33,695,0916 people have tested positive for the virus. Of them, 599,863 people have died and 27,098,620 people have recovered.

In Brazil, 15,590,613 people have tested positive for coronavirus. Of them, 434,852 patients have died and 14,062,396 recovered.

In India, 24,684,077 people have tested positive for coronavirus. Of them, 270,319 people have died and 20,795,335 people have recovered.

In Mexico, 2,380,690 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus. Of them, 220,380 died and 1,899,742 recovered from the disease.

In UK, 4,448,851 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of them, 127,675 patients have died and 4,275,502 people have recovered.

In Italy, 4,153,374 people have tested positive for coronavirus. Of them, 124,063 people have died and 3,696,481 people have recovered. 

In Russia, 4,940,245 people have tested positive for Covid-19. Of them, 115,871 have died and 4,556,073 have recovered.

In France, 5,863,839 people have tested positive for coronavirus. Of them, 107,535 patients have died and 5,080,344 patients have recovered.

In Germany, 3,595,872 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of them, 86,669 patients have died and 3,286,5400 have recovered.

In Colombia, 3,103,333 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus. Of them, 80,780 people have died and 2,902,646 people have recovered.

In Spain, 3,604,799 patients have been diagnosed with coronavirus. Of them, 79,339 have died and 3,297,340 patients have recovered. 
 
In Iran, 2,751,166 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus. Of them, 76,936 patients have died and 2,226,122 patients have recovered. 

In Poland, 2,854,079 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of them, 71,664 patients have died and 2,600,974 people have recovered.

In Argentina, 3,290,935 people have tested positive for Covid-19. Of them, 70,253 patients have died and 2,933,946 people have recovered.

In Peru, 1,884,596 people have tested positive for Covid-19. Of them, 65,911 have died and 1,720,665 have recovered.

In South Africa, 1,611,143 people have tested positive for Covid-19. Of them, 55,183 have died and 1,523,243 have recovered.

In Bangladesh, 780,159 people have tested positive for coronavirus. Of them, 12,149 people died and 722,036 patients have recovered.

The World Health Organization declared the coronavirus crisis a pandemic on March 11 last year.
