Public transports have started operation again on the roads inside cities and districts from Thursday amid the restrictions enforced to contain the spread of Covid-19 infections.
Bus services resumed from this morning with half seat of passengers.
The buses and other mass commuting vehicles were banned since April 14.
The government on Wednesday issued a gazette notification allowing public transport, including buses and minibuses, to operate only inside the territory of each district.
However, the inter-district public transportation will remain suspended, according to the notification.
Besides, train and launch services will remain suspended as per the previous directives.
