Bangladesh imposes strict lockdown from April 14-21

The government has imposed a strict lockdown from April 14 to April 21 aiming to contain the spread of coronavirus infection in the country.

A gazette notification was issued on Monday in this regard.  

According to the notice, the shopping malls and markets across the country will remain closed during this period. 

Kitchen markets and grocery shops will remain open from 9am to 3pm in open places maintaining the health guidelines, it added.
