Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has said public transport services will resume in all the city corporation areas from tomorrow (April 7) maintaining health guidelines.

Quader, also the General Secretary of ruling Awami League, made the announcement today through a video message from his official residence.

According to him, the buses will run at half capacity from 6:00am to 6:00pm while long distance bus services will remain suspended.

The decision came just two days after the government imposed a weeklong lockdown countrywide to contain the spread of coronavirus infection.
