The bodies of three fishermen were recovered as they went missing during the Sunday's storm in the River Meghna at Haimchar Upazila in Chandpur district.
Of them, two bodies were retrieved from the river on Tuesday morning while one on Monday afternoon, said Sadar Police Station OC Abdur Rashid
The deceased were identified as Alamgir Hawlader of Sadar upazila of Chandpur, Mohammad Ali Dewan and Monsur Ali Bepari.
Hanarchar Union Parishad (UP) Chairman Abdul Sattar told Banglanews that five fishermen went to the river on Sunday for fishing. Suddenly, they met a storm and went missing in the Meghna.
On information, members of Fire Service and Civil Defence and navy rushed to the spot and started rescue operation.
