The second dose of Covid-19 vaccine will now be given two months after the first dose instead of previously planned one month.

Prof ABM Khurshid Alam, director general of the health directorate, came up with the disclosure while talking to the journalists on Monday.

"Those have already been vaccinated and given the next date for second shot, will be informed about the fresh date through SMS," he said.
