Journalist Mizanur Rahman Khan passes away  Mizanur Rahman Khan

Mizanur Rahman Khan, joint editor of Bangla Daily Prothom Alo, passed away on Monday evening.

He breathed his last around 6:20 pm while undergoing treatment at the Universal Medical College and Hospital (former Ayesha Memorial Hospital) in Dhaka. 

The hospital's managing director Dr Ashish Kumar Chakraborty confirmed the information to Banglanews. 

Mizanur Rahman had been undergoing treatment at the hospital since contracting the coronavirus in December last year.
