At least four people were killed and 19 others injured as a bus fell into a roadside ditch in in Tungipara of Gopalganj on Saturday morning.

The injured were admitted to Gopalganj General Hospital.

Tungipara Police station OC AFM Nasim confirmed the matter.

According to eye witnesses and police, the driver of a Dhaka-bound bus of Dola Paribahan lost control over the steering while it tried to give side a motorized van, leaving four dead and 19 others injured.

One of the dead was identified as van driver Akam Uddin. The identities of other deceased could not be known yet.
