The sixth Joint Consultative Commission (JCC) meeting between Bangladesh and India will be held virtually on Tuesday.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 3:30 pm, said sources at the foreign ministry.
Foreign Minister Dr. AK Abdul Momen and his Indian counterpart Dr. S Jaishankar will lead their respective sides in meeting.
All important issues of cooperation between the two neighboring countries will be discussed in this year’s meeting. Indian credit line, water sharing in common rivers, energy, connectivity, trade and border issues are likely to be up for discussion.
The 5th meeting of the commission was held in New Delhi in February last year when Bangladesh Foreign Minister Dr. AK Abdul Momen and his the then Indian counterpart Sushma Swaraj led their respective sides.
