DHAKA: The government has made a major promotion and reshuffle in police administration including its DIG, additional police commissioner and police supers.
21 Police Super (SP) have been promoted to Additional DIG and 113 senior ASP to Additional Police Super.
A gazette notification issued from home ministry said on Tuesday.
In the reshuffle, police headquarters deputy inspector general (DIG) of police Binoy Krishna Bala has been transferred to CID while DMP additional police commissioner Mili Biswas to DIG police headquarters.
Moreover, Magura police super Jihadul Kabir has been transferred to Rajbari, Barisal’s AKM Ahsan Ullah to Magura and DMP additional police commissioner SM Aktaruzzaman has been made Barisal police super.
