State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid hoped that the load-shedding situation will improve within two weeks.

He came up with optimism while talking to journalists today (June 4) at the secretariat in the capital.

The minister said, "We are taking time to supply gas, coal and oil. The size of load shedding has slightly increased. Already the situation has become quite unbearable. We are trying to solve it quickly."

The state minister also expressed deep regret and apology to the countrymen for the excessive load shedding.
