Student beaten dead over family dispute in Patia

A student was allegedly beaten to death due to a family dispute in Patia on Thursday (June 1). 

The decease Shahedul Islam, 19, was an HSC second-year student of Patia Government College.

The incident happened under the Bathua Bridge of Chanhara Union of Patia at around 11:30 pm.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Patia Police Station Priton Sarkar confirmed the matter to Banglanews.

It is initially believed that the murder happened due to a family dispute, he said.
