Bangladesh Meteorological Department predicted that the weather may remain mainly dry over the country for the next 24 hours commencing 9am today (May 29).

According to the Met office bulletin, weather may remain mainly dry over the country, having chances of rain or thundershowers at one or two places over Khulna division.

Mild heat wave may sweep at places over Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal and Dhaka divisions, it added.

Temperature: Day temperature may rise by (1-2)oC and night temperature may rise slightly over the country.

Country's maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded by 36.6 degree Celsius at Khepupara while the minimum temperature today was recorded by 22.0 degree Celsius at Tetulia.

The sun sets at 6.41pm today and rises at 5.11am tomorrow.
