A Gazipur court granted bail to film actress Mahiya Mahi on Saturday (Mar 18).

The court of Gazipur Metropolitan Magistrate Md Iqbal Hossain passed the order. 

The same court earlier issued an order to send her to jail rejecting the remand plea of police.

Advocate Anwar Sadat, Advocate Ripon Chandra Sarkar and Advocate Nabijul Islam stood for Mahi in the bail hearing. 

Advocate Sadat said that bail has been granted bail in both the cases filed against her.

Earlier, police arrested her at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at around 11:45am on Saturday.
