Sayem Sobhan Anvir, Managing Director (MD) of Bashundhara Group, the country's largest business conglomerate, has lent his humanitarian gesture standing by 104 poor but meritorious students.

On the occasion of his birthday today (Jan 31), Sayem Sobhan Anvir extended financial support to the students at a programme organized by Kaler Kantho Shubasangha in Bashundhara residential area of the capital.

While addressing the students, Sayem Sobhan Anvir said: "Education is one's own, which no one can take away. Human wisdom is created through education. The country has to move forward with wisdom and talent. You have to grow up in such a way that you can contribute to the country and its people. Only then the support I extended will be worthwhile."
