Police arrested three drug peddlers along with 53 kg of hemp and a truck in Brahmanbaria's Kasba.

The information was disclosed through a press release by Kasba police station on Friday (Dec 2) noon.

The arrestees were identified as Wahidun Nabi, 26, Munna Dhali, 24, and Russell, 25.

Kasba Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Mohiuddin confirmed the matter.

He said acting on a tip-off, a team of police conducted a drive on the eastern side of Kasba-Syedabad road in Binauti Union and arrested three and a vehicle.

A case has been lodged against them under the Narcotics Control Act with Kasba police station.
