A cop was killed after a truck hit his motorcycle at Daulatpur Meenakhhi intersection in Khulna city on Monday (Nov 21) morning.

The deceased was identified as Musabbir Hosain and was a police constable.

Deputy Commissioner (traffic) of Khulna Metropolitan Police Monira Sultana confirmed the matter.

She said the accident occurred when Musabbir went to Khulna's Bil Dakatia area around 9:45 am.

His body was kept at Khulna Medical College Hospital, she added.
