The police recovered two bodies including a schoolgirl from two areas in the capital.

The deceased were identified as Sohail, 30, a painter, and schoolgirl Maisha Akhter Momi, 14.

Sub-Inspector (SI) of Jatrabari Police Station Jahangir Alam confirmed the matter.

He said the body of Sohail was recovered last Wednesday at 1:30 pm. According to an autopsy report, he committed suicide out of anger with his wife.

Deputy Inspector (SI) of Kamrangirchar police station Kabirul Islam said that the body of the schoolgirl was recovered from a local hospital around 5:30 pm on Wednesday. 

It was initially reported that she committed suicide by hanging herself, he added.
