DHAKA: Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has said that charge-sheet will be given at the fastest time to complete the trial of BUET student Abrar Fahad killing case.
The minister said this at his office at the Secretariat on Thursday (October 10).
The Home Minister said that as per the directive of the Prime Minister, the halls of all universities would be searched after talking to the respective university authorities.
Not only drive against corruptions, but also the government will undertake all steps to establish good governance in the country, he added.
Abrar Fahad, a second year student of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of BUET was allegedly beaten to death at his dorm Sher-e-Bangla Hall early Monday (Oct 7).
The body of Fahad was found lying between the first and second floors of Sher Bangla Hall.
Later on that day, police arrested 10 BCL leaders of its BUET unit over the alleged involvement in the killing of fellow student Abrar Fahad.
On Tuesday (Oct 8), a Dhaka court placed ten leaders of BCL on a five-day remand and fixed November 13 for submission of probe report of the case filed over the murder of Abrar Fahad.
