DHAKA: Awami League (AL) General Secretary and Road, Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader is set to return home on Wednesday (May 15) after receiving treatment at a Singapore hospital.
At 6:30 pm, a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight (BG 085), carrying the minister, is scheduled to land at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka, Public Relations officer of RTHD Abu Naser told Banglanews
Obaidul is back in his regular state, doing exercise on daily basis. Following 70 days of treatment at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, he is coming back home at consultation of doctors.
The minister was taken to Mount Elizabeth Hospital on March 4.
He underwent a bypass surgery on March 20. On April 5, Quader was discharged from the hospital, but he rented a house nearby the hospital.
Prior to his shift to Singapore, Obaidul Quader received treatment at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) hospital.
