DHAKA: Four people were killed following separate road accidents in four districts of the country on Thursday (July 12).

In Sirajganj, a truck helper slipped from the truck, as result crushed under it at Simanta Bazar point in Kazipur upazila of the dictrict. 

The deceased were identified as Ajmahar Ali, 40, son of Sabur Ali, hailed from Shuvogasa village of the upazila. 

On information, the body was recovered, quoting A.K.M.Lutfur Rahman, Officer-in-Charge of Kazipur Police Station. 

In Rajbari, a truck driver was killed on the spot as the vehicle plunged into a ditch at Kamaldiya area of Rajbari Sadar Upazila.

The deceased was identified as Md Fazlu Molla, 31, son of Mossarraf Molla, hailed from   Char Lakshimpur village of the Sadar upazila

On information, police recovered the body, said Jahidul Islam, Sub Inspector of Rajbari Sadar Police Station.

In Bagerhat, a man was killed following a microbus-truck collision at Zero Point area of Rampal upazila.

The deceased was identified as Mokarram Hossen, 40, hailed from Kanaipur area of Faridpur district, according to Md Masud Sardar, deputy-assistant director of Bagerhat Fire Service.

In Gaibandha, a man was killed in a clash between a CNG-propelled auto rickshaw and a battery-propelled easy bike in Palashbari upazila of the district. 

The deceased was identified as Saidar Rahman, 50, son of late Boyan Bepari, hailed from Nimdas Vita village of Palashbari upazila.

Mahmudul Alam, OC of Palashbari Police Station endorsed the accident.
