DHAKA: The government has appointed Rezina Ahmed as the High Commissioner of Bangladesh to the Republic of Mauritius. 

Foreign ministry issued a press release in this regard on Tuesday (May 8).

According to the press release, career diplomat Rezina Ahmed joined Bangladesh Foreign Service in 1994 through BCS. She is presently serving as the Consul General of Bangladesh Consulate General in Milan, Italy.

She has also served in Bangladesh Missions in Canberra, Moscow and Yangon in different positions.

Rezina Ahmed, who completed her Bachelor and Masters of Social Sciences degree in International Relations from the University of Dhaka, attended different training courses at home as well as abroad and represented Bangladesh in many bilateral and multilateral meetings.
