US-Bangla takes families of crash victims to Kathmandu

DHAKA: A special flight of US-Bangla Airlines, carrying the family members of the Monday’s fatal plane crash, left here for Nepal capital city Kathmandu Tuesday (March 13).

The flight took off from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 8:40am.

A team of some state officials and staff from Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) accompanied the victims’ relatives.

Emrana Kabir Hasi, Priyon Dhami, Samira, Kabir Hossain, Mehedi Hasan, Rizwana Abdullah, Swarna Saiyeda Kamrunnahar, Shahrin Ahmed, Md Shahin Bepari, Kishore Tripoti, Hari Prasad Subedi, Doyaram Tomrakar, Kishan Pandey, Boshonto Bohra, Ashish Ronchit, Binod Raj Pudwal, Sonom Sakshi, Dinesh Humagein and Rezwanul Haq are hospitalized in separate hospitals in Kathmandu.

An aircraft of US-Bangla Airlines bound for Kathmandu from Dhaka crashed on landing claimed lives of 49 among 71 persons on board, at Tribhuban International Airport Monday (March 12).

A total of 19 persons were rescued alive from the terrifying plane crash.
