The signed copy of HC bail order for Minni reached the Barguna court around 12 pm, Minni’s lawyer Mahbubul Bari Aslam said.

I have requested to submit the bail order for Minni. The judge of the court will accept the bail order and send it to the jail authorities. Hopefully, Minni will be released by today after completing all official duties, the lawyer said.

Charge sheet was submitted against 24 persons, including no-7 accused Ayesha Siddika Minni in the sensational murder case of Barguna youth Rifat Sharif.

A press release, sent by the Superintendent of Police (BG) of special branch of Barguna, issued on Sunday (September 1) in this regard.

After the investigation, the charge sheet was submitted to the court accusing 20 persons. Besides, a plea was made to free the main accused of the case, Nayan Bond, who was killed in a gunfight.

Ayesha Siddiqa Minni, wife of slain youth Rifat Sharif, was arrested for her alleged involvement in the murder as well for the sake of proper investigation of the case.

22-year-old Rifat Sharif, from Barguna sadar upazila, was hacked to death indiscriminately by Minni's alleged former husband Nayan Bond and his aides in broad daylight in front of Barguna Government College on June 26.
