Actor Farooque hospitalised for Covid-19 Akbar Hossain Pathan Farooque

Popular silver screen actor and Awami League lawmaker Akbar Hossain Pathan Farooque has been hospitlised after testing positive for Covid-19 on Monday night.

He was admitted to Kurmitla General Hospital in the capital around 6:00pm on Monday, said Asma Pathan Rumpa, niece of the actor.

Urging countrymen to pray for his speedy recovery, Rumpa said the actor's condition is stable now.
