Banks will remain open from 10am to 1:30pm from July 1 and bank employees' office hour will be till 3pm during the nationwide strict restriction enforced to contain the spread of coronavirus.

Banks will remain closed on Sunday also.

A circular signed by Anwarul Islam, General Manager (Department of Off-site Supervision) of Bangladesh Bank has been sent to all scheduled banks on Wednesday (June 30).
