DHAKA: Country’s leading business conglomerate T. K. Group handed over 20 Ventilator Machine in Chittagong Medical College, Chittagong General Hospital, Chittagong Field Hospital, Parkview Hospital and Surgiscope Hospital for Corona patient treatment support.
T. K. Group Managing director Mohammad Abul Kalam has taken this initiative to support during this pandemic situation as a part of their social responsibility. Deputy Commissioner of Chittagong Mohammad Elius Hussain handed over this ventilator to the hospital’s representatives as chief guest on this occasion held at Circuit House of the City on Friday (June 19), a press release said.
Mohammad Mofassel Haque, Marketing Director of T. K. Group was presided over the event. Civil Surgeon of Chittagong Dr. Shaikh Fazle Rabbi and Raozan Upazila Chairman Ehsanul Karim Chowdhury (Babul) was present as special guest in the handing over session.
Besides, senior officials from Deputy Commissioner’s office of Chattogram, hospitals representative and well T. K. Group Officials were also present on the ceremony.
With the number of Covid-19 cases on the rise, the ventilator machine will enable the affected patient to provide emergency medical support and mitigate the outbreak. "During this global pandemic, Bangladesh urgently needs to ensure the necessary ventilator support for critical patients at hospitals. Ventilator is one of important medical equipment for corona infected patient in worldwide. From this point of view T. K. group takes the initiative to provide ventilator for hospital, where patient get more service.
