PSC, Ebtedayee examinations to start on November 17

DHAKA: Primary School Certificate (PSC) and Ebtedayee Examinations will begin on Sunday (Nov 17) across the country with the participation of 29,03,638 examinees.

A total of 25,53,267 students will sit for the Primary terminal examinations this year. Of them, 11, 81,300 are boys and 13,71,967 girls.

State minister for Primary and Mass Education Ministry Md Zakir Hossain made the announcement at a press conference at his ministry office on Thursday (Nov 14) afternoon.

He said a total of 3,50, 371 students – 1,87,082 boys and 1,66,281 girls – will attend the Ebtedayee terminal examinations.

Adequate security measures along with maximum protection against question paper leakage have been taken, he said.

The examinations, which will be held at 7,458 centres across the country, are scheduled to end on November 24.

Besides, 615 students will sit for the examinations from eight countries. The three-hour examinations will begin from 10:30am.
