HSC examinee hacked dead in Bogra Nahid, the deceased

BOGRA: Miscreants hacked an HSC examinee to death in Shajahanpur upazila of Bogra Saturday (April 27) noon.

Nahid, 18, the deceased, was son of one Matiur Rahman from Ghashira village.

He sat for HSC examinations this year, from Bogra Cantt Public School & College.

Locals said Nahid was returning home on a bike, with one of his friends, after attending Chemistry second paper test, around 2:30pm.

A group of miscreants stooped the bike and fled away after stabbing Nahid with knife, on Ghashira-Birulia Regional Road.

Locals rescued Nahid and took to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital (SZMC) where he was pronounced dead by the physician.

Shajahanpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Azim Uddin confirmed the matter to Banglanews.

Efforts are on to nab the attackers. The incident might have occurred over previous enmity, said the OC.
