New Ducsu leaders meet PM at Ganabhaban

DHAKA: Newly elected leaders of Dhaka University Central Students’ Association (Ducsu) met Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her state residence Ganabhaban Saturday (Mar 16).

Sheikh Hasina exchanged greetings with them.

Ducsu VP-elect Nurul Haque Nur, GS-elect also BCL General Secretary Golam Rabbani, AGS-elect Saddam Hossain and BCL President Rezwanul Haque Chowdhury Shovon, among others, were there.

Nurul Haque Nur lauded Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s efforts to take the country to a new height and sought her help for operations of Ducsu.

Sheikh Hasina advised the student leaders to keep vigilance so that the beneficiaries cannot make any harm out of movements of the students. 

“Future leadership will come out of the students and therefore student cabinet has been introduced”

“Adequate environment has been ensured at the colleges and universities for practicing the democratic values,” added the premier.
