Ducsu polls begin A polling center.

DHAKA UNIVERSITY: Voting in Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (Ducsu) elections have begun Monday (Mar 11), after 28 years.

The balloting will continue from 8am to 2pm, without any break. 

As many as 43,256 voters are supposed to cast ballots in the poling centers installed at 18 halls.

A total of 229 candidates are vying for posts in Ducsu core unit. Of them, 21 are vying for vice president (VP) post, 14 for general secretary (GS) and 13 for assistant general secretary (AGS) post. 

Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) Central Unit President Rezwanul Haque Chowdhury Shovon, Chhatra Dal leader Mostafizur Rahman, Quota Reformation movement leader Nurul Huq Nur, Pragatishil Chhatra Jote leader Liton Nandi and Independent Alliance leader Aroni Semonti Khan are among the candidates for VP post.
