Ramiz Uddin College gets 5 buses from PM BRTC chairman hands over the keys to the authorities of Shaheed Ramiz Uddin Cantonment School & College

DHAKA: Five buses were handed over to the authorities of Shaheed Ramiz Uddin Cantonment School & College as promised by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. 

BRTC chairman Farid Ahmed Bhuiyan handed over the keys to the army's Log Area commander Major Ataul Hakim on Saturday morning (August 4).

Earlier on July 29, 2 students of Shaheed Ramiz Uddin Cantonment College were killed as a speedy bus ran over them on city’s Airport Road.

The deceased were identified as Abdul Karim, 16 and Diya, 15. Twelve others were injured in the accident.

On August 2, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina consoled the bereaved families after bringing them in her office. Premier also handed over to each of the family checks of Tk 20 lakh.
