EWUBC organizes business strategy competition

DHAKA: East West University Business Club (EWUBC) is organizing a nationwide business strategy competition titled "BriefCase 2019: An Inter University 360° Business Strategy Competition", with the objective of introducing participants with every segment of business such as Marketing, Supply Chain, Management and Finance.

The competition is powered by RUCHI, a brand of Square Food & Beverage. 

Banglanews24.com, Kaler Kontho, Financial Express, Radio Foorti, Business Times, and Igloo are other partners of the competition.

The program is apportioned into three rounds titled as ‘Round 1: Build the Campaign’, ‘Round 2: On-spot Video Case’ and ‘Round 3: Grand Finale-The Business Pitch”, based on three different segments of business. 

The rounds will respectively be held on 23-26th July, 29th July and 4th August, 2019. The participants will have to compete in an online case, an advertisement making task, and a research-based case (Final) solving rounds after passing the online screening phase. 

A Grand Gala will be held on the same day of the Grand Finale. On that day, the disclosure and achievement of the winners will be celebrated. 

On July 12, one of the club’s moderators, EWU Asst Prof Silvia Akter made announcement of the program, before media on the varsity premises. 

Square Food & Beverage Senior Brand Manager MA Mahmud and Brand Executive Murtaza Nasir attended the announcement.

The registration has started from July 14. Participants must register with a team of three members and the registration will end on July 18. 

EWUBC is going to celebrate the anniversary of its 20 years with a concert and a trophy unveiling event of the competition.
