DHAKA: The government has fixed the prices of raw hide of the sacrificial animals ahead of the Eid-ul-Azha.

Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed made the announcement at a press briefing at the conference room of his ministry in Bangladesh Secretariat on Thursday (August 9).

According to the announcement, the price of cow hide has been fixed at Tk 45-50 per square foot in Dhaka and Tk 35-40 in rest of the county this year.

On the other hand, the tanners will buy the goat hide at Tk 18-20 and ‘Baqra’ goats at Tk 13-15 across the country.
